Career 8:: Post Career - Goodbye tech!! (v1.0)

Just a note. 

These days I am completely tuned out on tech. More interested now in impact of tech on people and society. Not that those have ever stopped tech from advancing anyway!! Not following any tech at all. Will never work in tech again. Already spent a lifetime on database/app servers/middleware. Enough!! Very happy with my career but it is over. I leave it behind. 

But memories of the past are good and to be treasured as are the good friends you made on the journey. But for the rougher patches in your career, you need closure and I have that. My good work-related tech friends are very few. 

Will someday write 2 new blogs on cyber-attacks/cyber warfare and its impact on society and the dangers of the rise of the tech enabled surveillance state. Tech can be used for good or to cause havoc. The story of the positives and negatives of AI on society has not yet been written. I am counting on Geoffrey Hinton (godfather of AI) leading the way on that. I will be reading what he says. 

My career blogs are done (career 1 thru 7 + post career blogs). No more on that. In total, every single job (even in the same company) is covered. It is absolutely complete. The blogs are numbered in chronological order.
